Yes. Each model has a maximum recommended vertical lift. Therefore, increasing the vertical lift reduces the remaining horizontal pumping capability, and the complete route must be calculated correctly.

Yes, within the performance limits of the selected model. However, pipe diameter, vertical lift, bends and resistance all affect the achievable distance.

Avoid unnecessary sharp bends because each one increases resistance. Use a direct route and smoother changes of direction wherever possible.

Yes, but the unit must remain accessible. Install a removable panel large enough to open the unit, service its components and remove the complete pump without damaging finished walls, furniture or tiles.

Ventilation requirements vary between domestic macerators, grey water pumps and lifting stations. Larger Sanicubic and SANIFOS systems need correct ventilation. Never fit an Air Admittance Valve directly to a lifting-station vent connection.
